FIRST COME

Kill Potter, Draco thought as he paced. I need to kill Potter.

The room was full of shadows and weapons, magical and mundane. So
much to choose from. Draco took a knife and cradled it in his
hands.

The door opened again. Harry. "Something to defeat Voldemort,"
Harry whispered. "Please." He picked up a wand.

Draco moved out of the shadows.

Harry stared, shocked. Then his expression softened. "You're what I
need to defeat him," Harry said. "What I've needed all along." He
dropped the wand and put his arms around Draco.

"Yes," Draco said and slid in the knife.
